Dakota's Sneak Peek

Dakota is a gorgeous lab/shepherd with a ton of energy and a huge love for tennis balls!  We met at Mickler's Landing on Sunday where the waves were insanely huge...
I love her fabulous ear!

It looks like Dakota is about to get a huge bubble bath!

Dakota and her pawrents:

After a little while we moved on to the dog park!  This shot cracks me up!  She was showing off for her new friends...

And then it was time to go home.  Silly face!  : )

I'm thrilled I got to meet Dakota and her family and I can't wait to edit the rest of the photos... she was so much fun!!!

Yukon's Sneak Peek

I'm a little behind on blog posts from this summer and there are definitely some fun ones but I wanted to get these photos of Yukon up now.  Yukon is an 11 year old Great Pyranese.  His mom got him when she was 19 and he was 8 weeks old... they have been through a lot together.

Today is his last day before crossing over the Rainbow Bridge.  I am honored to have been able to meet him on Tuesday.  He is big (although not nearly as big as he once was) and beautiful.  He absolutely still has a puppy face!

Soon he will have his puppy body back too.

Thank you, Yukon, for allowing me to capture your love for your mom.  I know she will miss you more than you can ever imagine.

Yukon, although only 100 pounds now, was a hefty 150 in his prime.  Yet he always liked to stand on his mom's feet!  Ooof!

Rest in Peace, Yukon.

Zelda and Zoe's Sneak Peek

Zelda and Zoe are adorable miniature schnauzers that I got to play with and photograph this weekend!
Zelda is 12 and Zoe is 8 but I never would have guessed it!  These girls know how to run and play and have a good time!!  : )

Here Zelda is on the left and Zoe on the right... both looking for a treat!

Happy Zoe!  And look at those ears on Zelda!  I love flying puppy ears!!

Zelda

Zoe

I'm a sucker for an adorable nose!  And Zoe likes to give kisses so I got to see her nose up close and personal a lot!  : )

Relaxing and cooling off

The girls definitely knew it was a special day... they were allowed to hang out on this fabulous, fun rug!  I almost lost Zoe in there a couple times!  ; )

I would really love it if you would all keep Zelda in your thoughts/prayers.  She has cancer but there is the possibility that she may be able to have it surgically removed.  She is going to find out more tomorrow afternoon.  I will be thinking of Zelda and her whole family and hoping to hear good news!

Sneak Peek!

Sorry that this sneak peek is so late. I actually emailed the photos to their mom, since she is overseas in Afghanistan right now... but then I had a couple people ask about the sessions and I realized I never posted on the blog!

Tally and Moe!

Mumsford!

Scooter!

Oliver!

Angus!
Angus didn't like me when I first walked into his house... but after a couple treats, he became my new best friend! It was hard to take photos of anyone else... he kept walking in front of the camera and posing! : )

Sneak Peek with Toby, Lola, and Boo!

I first photographed Toby and Lola almost two and half years ago, when Lola was a wee pup of only 4 months. I had so much fun with them and I was thrilled that they agreed to let me come back for another shoot when PBS was doing a piece on Furrie Fotographie. You can just imagine how excited I was when their mom asked me to come back again! Toby is as handsome as ever and Lola has grown up! Plus they have added a couple family members. Boo is a gorgeous and soft black kitty... and their mom just got married two days before the photo session so they have a wonderful, loving daddy now too!

Lola and Toby, taking turns lounging in the chair.

Boo!

Lola, ready to jump for a tree limb!

Toby, worn out...

And the whole family!

Boo's Sneak Peek!

Boo is a 9 year old Boston Terrier with the energy of a pup! She's a beautiful girl who gives sweet kisses and loves, loves, loves her blue racquetball ball! I have the feeling she can entertain herself for hours with that ball. At one point, Boo would get the ball in her mouth and squeeze just hard enough that it would literally "pop" out and bounce around the room... and she would chase it and start over again! It was hilarious and she would have entertained ME for hours too!

Here are a few of my favorites from this weekend!
Boo, very focused... on the ball in my hand!

Boo looking deceptively relaxed in her window seat... still focused on the ball in my hand!

I love Boo's crazy teeth!

Hanging out in the front yard... can you guess what she is focused on?

Who can resist a cute lil' Boston hiney?!

Finally! Boo has her ball!! : )
